  RESEARCH- CODES AND CONVENTIONS OF MUSIC VIDEOS   The codes and conventions in a music video are used to construct messages and meanings.  D epending on the genre and style of the video, these conventions can shift slightly .  The codes and conventions consist of two techniques; technical and symbolical. Technical Techniques:  Technical techniques is how the meaning is conveyed using technical equipment. This may include things such as how the camera is used including types of angles and movements, different sound within the shot, whether its diegetic or non diegetic, whether its fast or slow editing and the genre of the song. Symbolic Techniques :  Symbolic techniques are they ways of showing meanings beyond what is obvious in front of you. It could be through the mist-en-scene including facial expressions, body language, posture, etc. Examples of codes and conventions:  Codes and conventions within music videos vary depending on the genre of music....

This time I will doing solproject of music   about the props,outfits and the detailed overview about the  sequences of the scene in relation to the script and the time coding prior our shoot .The time coding part was pretty hard since I kept getting confused between the time coding and editing. But in the end i managed to explain to my actress what exactly happens,thus we were well coordinated .

The song that I have selected to make a music promotional package is "The heart want what it want" 

 In media studies, we examine a variety of media and how they are made, from books to movies.and how music is made Our course is divided into two sections: one covers media content and context, and the other covers factual information about institutions and viewers. We will be working on music video  this year
